What this checker looks for

An ATS parses your resume into structured data, then a recruiter searches and filters it. If the parse fails, you can be filtered out before any human reads a word. This tool checks the mechanical basics that decide whether the parse succeeds:

Readable text — the #1 issue. Image-based or scanned PDFs extract to nothing, so an ATS sees a blank resume.
