Free Resume-to-Job Match Check

Found a job you want? Paste the posting and upload your resume, and we'll show you exactly which of its requirements your resume covers — and which are missing — before you apply. No sign-up, no catch.

What this check does

Recruiters and ATS keyword screens read your resume against the posting's requirements. This tool does the same read, in the open: it pulls the requirements and qualifications out of the posting you pasted, then checks each one against the text of your resume:

  • Covered requirements — the posting asks for it and your resume says it. These are the reasons you'll get the interview.
  • Missing requirements — the posting asks for it and your resume doesn't mention it. If you actually have the skill, adding it is the single highest-leverage edit you can make before applying. If you don't, you know what the screen will see.
  • Must-haves vs nice-to-haves — required qualifications weigh twice as much as preferred ones in your coverage percentage, the same way a recruiter reads them.

It's a keyword-coverage check on one posting, not a verdict on you. Wondering whether an ATS can even read your resume in the first place? Run the free ATS resume check. And for how to close the gaps honestly, see the guide on tailoring your resume to a job description.
