Maintenance Technician
Full job description
McDonald's is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to help keep our restaurant clean, safe, and running smoothly. This role is responsible for general facility upkeep, basic equipment care, and supporting a great guest experience by maintaining a clean and well-functioning environment inside and out.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, restrooms, kitchen, roof, and exterior areas (including parking lot and dumpster area)
Perform routine tasks such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and deep cleaning.
Complete basic building and grounds upkeep (light repairs, changing light bulbs, filters on roof, minor touch ups)
Assist with equipment cleaning and preventative maintenance per company procedures
Unloading delivery trucks, product rotation, product where it belongs
Identify and report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
Follow food safety, sanitation, and safety guidelines at all times
Support opening/closing and special cleaning projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Comfortable performing physical work (standing, bending and lifting up to 25 pounds)
Ability to follow checklists, safety rules, and cleaning procedures
Basic mechanical/handyman skills preferred (training provided)
Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
