EmmUcare Home Health is seeking an organized, dependable, and experienced Human Resources Manager to support our growing team. This position is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys working with employees, managing important administrative responsibilities, and helping daily operations run smoothly.

The primary focus of this role will be payroll processing, workers’ compensation management, employee records, and general HR support. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, approachable, professional, and comfortable handling confidential information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process payroll accurately and on time.
  • Manage workers’ compensation claims from initial reporting through resolution.
  • Communicate with injured employees, supervisors, insurance representatives, and medical providers as needed.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, attendance information, and HR documentation.
  • Assist with payroll processing.
  • Handle complaints, concerns, and support.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, policies, and HR procedures.
  • Update HR forms, policies, reports, and internal records.
  • Provide administrative support for other HR-related activities.
  • Protect the confidentiality of employee and company information.

Qualifications

  • Previous HR or related administrative experience is required.
  • Experience with payroll and workers’ compensation is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment policies, payroll procedures, and workplace compliance.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team environment.
